The Bring it Back initiative has been launched by the environmental charity PECT to assess return rates, messaging and to see how many single-use cups have been saved from going to landfill or the incinerator. Both Lakeside Kitchen and Bar and Ferry Meadows Cafe are involved in the trial to help make a more positive impact on the environment.

King Charles III's Coronation was held on Saturday 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. Camilla, Queen Consort, was also be crowned at the same time during the historic event, which is the first to take place in nearly 70 years following the late Queen's long reign.
