There’s nothing more British than an afternoon tea and these occasions have been tradition for nearly two centuries. An afternoon tea typically includes a selection of finger sandwiches, elegant desserts and tea, or other warm drinks. Now most commonly held as an occasional indulgence, Lakeside Kitchen & Bar serve a delicious afternoon tea that you can enjoy with your friends and family.

The person who came up with this fantastic idea is named Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford. Dating all the way back to the 1800’s, she would start getting peckish in the late afternoon and would request for tea, cake and buttered bread. She then turned this into a tradition when she shared the idea with her circle, inviting them to her pre dinner meal.
